Psychotherapy

I offer individual therapy face to face in Denver, Colorado, through my company, Broad Sea PLLC.  I also am open to working with clients in Colorado over video or telephone, on a case-by-case basis.  For those seeking to use insurance, booking therapy sessions is best accomplished by contacting the Mindful Therapy Group in Denver.  Those seeking private pay or reduced fee therapy should contact me through this website.

Coaching

I offer coaching online and in person.  The focus and goals for coaching are developed individually in concert with each client.  Possible areas of work include mental or behavioral health, wellbeing, relationships, interpersonal skills, or professional goals and achievement.  Please note that as of Fall 2025 I am offering coaching on a limited basis for those who have a good fit for my background (e.g. professionals, high achievers, students, mindfulness practitioners)
Consulting
I offer consultation with organizations, families, and individuals on a range of issues.  I employ a flexible consultation model where after initial meetings to assess needs and fit, the client and I agree on a scope and model of work.  Potential consultation projects include workshops, meeting with individuals or leading organizational meetings, leadership coaching, or written deliverables such as reports.  Potential topics of consultation include:

organizational culture
ethical issues and organizational ethics
leadership and management styles
organizational and employee wellbeing
individual, family, and organizational growth and development
mental health consulting
work-life balance

I am a licensed attorney in New York, Tennessee, and Washington State.  As a general rule, I do not offer legal advice or services in consultation.

I am a non-specialized therapist and work with a broad range of clients on a wide range of issues.  My approach is tailored to each client’s needs but generally combines talk with experiential work, and often touches on attachment (childhood) experiences   I often draw from my own professional background as an attorney and from my experiences in mindfulness practice.  I have advanced training in schema therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and brainspotting (a trauma-informed experiential therapy).  Because of my own academic and professional background, I especially enjoy working with members of high pressure professions (such as lawyers and doctors) and with students.
